The New Delhi TB Centre is an apex Institute well recognized for the diagnosis, treatment, training, teaching and research in the field of TB and Respiratory Diseases. It functions as State TB Training and Demonstration Centre and Intermediate Reference Laboratory for Delhi State, monitoring NTEP activities of the microscopy Centers under 25 Chest Clinics of Delhi.  

Applications are invited from willing and eligible candidates to fill up the post of DIRECTOR at New Delhi TB Centre, New Delhi on Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis from Government of India, Central Public Sector Undertakings, State Governments and Institutions as per details below:-

Qualifications:

  A recognized medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the   Third schedule to Indian Medical Council ACT of 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the Third    schedule  should also   fulfill the conditions specified in sub section  of Section 13 of the   Act).

  A post-graduate degree in TB and Respiratory Diseases from an Indian University or Qualification recognized equivalent thereto. 

Experience : 

 Ten years experience in TB and Respiratory Diseases in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree mentioned above.  Experience in teaching and Research is essential.

General Instructions to the Candidates

  1. The post will be filled up on Direct Recruitment or on Deputation basis.
  2. Applications are to made online through our website https://tbassnindia.org. A physical copy of the Online application along with certificates/ experience/ proof of teaching & research should be sent to Secretary General, Tuberculosis Association of India, 3, Red Cross Road, New Delhi 110 001 on or before the last date for receipt of applications.
  3. Candidate employed in Government of India, State Governments, Public Sector undertakings, Institutions should forward physical copy of their application along with all documents in support of their application such as Degrees/ experience certificate and other documents duly self attested through proper channel or bring “No Objection Certificate” if called for interview.
  4. Person should be working in non functional selection grade of pay level 14 as per 7th CPC.
  5. Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
  6. Mere submission of an application does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. 
  7. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  8. The Association reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason. 
  9. Applications received after the last date will not be considered. 

The Tuberculosis Association of India (TAI) has been serving the cause of tuberculosis since 1939. It is one of the oldest and largest voluntary organizations having its affiliates all over the country. It was set up in February, 1939 as a registered society by incorporating the King Emperor’s Anti-Tuberculosis Fund and King George Thanks-giving (Anti-Tuberculosis) Fund. Her Excellency the Marchioness of Linlithgow was the first President of the Association when the Tuberculosis Association of India was established on February 23, 1939.
